I was invited to install work in this group show curated by Jessamine at the former Belmont Hotel in West Dallas. The architecturally significant building was constructed in 1946, designed by Charles Dilbeck. After a short period of revitalization in the mid-2000s (during which my husband and I enjoyed a few weekend visits) the hotel has once again fallen into a state of disrepair. The current owner has allowed for portions of the building to be used as a diy artspace, curated by the Jessamine team.
